League of Legends is an FREE action RTS video game developed and published by Riot Games for Microsoft Windows, inspired by the popular Defense of the Ancients map for Warcraft III. It was first announced on October 7, 2008, and released on October 27, 2009. The game was in a closed beta from April 10, 2009, to October 22, 2009. It then transitioned to open beta until release.


General

Players are formed into 2 even teams of Champions, 3v3 or 5v5. As of 3 April 2012 there are 94 different champions from which to choose. Each player begins at opposing sides of a map in an area called the Spawning Pool, near what is called a Nexus. A match is won when either team's nexus is destroyed. To destroy a Nexus, each team must work through a series of Turrets placed along a path to each base referred to as a Lane. Along the way, each player gains levels from killing the opposing team's champions and Minions (NPCs that constantly spawn and attack the other team) and defeating neutral monsters. Completing objectives rewards players with gold which is used to purchase items.

Fast Load is a great work by the “Big Z”, which cuts down loading time and means less disappointment for game enthusiasts. However, there’s one thing in this technology that pulls its own leg: it becomes useless the second you jump into another game.

   Say for example, you were in the CastleVille screen in the middle of your daily chores and had just decided to go tend your CityVille. The first time you head back to Zynga.com, activates the CastleVille Fast Load allowing you to jump back in immediately, while in the second you go into CityVille, this will deactivate your CastleVille Fast Load.

   You’ll have to load the game all over- that is, if you want to get back on CastlVille after tending your CityVille, basically, the Fast Load benefits a gamer depends on how often a gamer play the same game throughout a single day, as keeping Zynga.com open in a browser tab allow you to jump back into a single game anytime you want, as long you didn’t close the browser window, or restart your computer or jump in other Zynga games, for any reason however, makes you start all over.

   Though it may not quite for a fitting solution if the problem, somehow it attempts to decrease the loading time giving players more time of playing than waiting the game to load. Still, it gives something for future developments. As for now, we can only step up from here.
